STEP ONE on the STEWARDSHIP WELL DONE JOURNEY is PRIORITIES.

Determine what life priorities matter most to you.

To help you get started...

Consider the following (a worksheet is provided in the RESOURCES section below for your convenience):

1. Brainstorm

Brainstorm a list of what matters most in your life. Another way to approach this would be to write down what you believe you are to accomplish in your life on this earth. Some broad areas to consider may include faith, family, work, education, etc. There are no right or wrong answers. Each person’s priorities will be unique.

2. Rank

Rank the items you listed in #1 from most important to least.

3. Highlight

Highlight the top three or four items in your list so you can begin focusing on them.

4. Keep

Keep your list in a prominent place to constantly remind you of your priorities. Some suggestions include keeping the list on your refrigerator, framing it for your bedroom or office, or laminating it to be kept in your wallet.

5. Determine

Determine the amount of time and money you dedicate to each priority every week.

6. Pray

Prayerfully evaluate your list and ask God if you need to adjust how you are spending your time and money.

OPTIONAL ACTIVITY– Ask three trusted friends if they believe your life reflects the priorities you stated. You may also want to ask those friends for suggestions if changes need to be made.

As Christians, we believe everything we have belongs to God and we are simply His manager. Keeping this simple truth at the top of your list will help keep your priorities in line as you continue on your own STEWARDSHIP WELL DONE JOURNEY.
