During the month of May we will be focusing on Step 5 of the Stewardship Well Done JourneyRETIREMENT. In this step we invite you to make sure you are making monthly contributions to capture all 401(k) and/or 403(b) matching funds. This is a first glance at retirement funds and your initial step is to make sure you are taking advantage of the matching funds that may be available to you through your employer. We also invite you to explore other retirement fund options, such as an IRA, especially if your employer does not offer retirement benefits.

For those of you who are just starting out in your career, it isn’t too early to start saving for retirement! Systematically saving for retirement throughout your career is ideal. However, if you are in the middle or your career, or even if the finish line is in sight, it isn’t too late! If you have put off planning for your retirement, you can still begin today! We invite you view the brief video below and to join us throughout the month as we highlight other resources regarding retirement. If you are ready to begin the retirement conversation, please contact us today!
