Gifts of Cash

A gift of cash is a simple and easy way for you to make a gift.

Gifts of Stocks & Bonds

Donating appreciated securities, including stocks or bonds, is an easy and tax-effective way for you to make a gift to to the Free Methodist ministry or charity of your choice.

Gifts of Real Estate

Donating appreciated real estate, such as a home, vacation property, undeveloped land, farmland, ranch or commercial property can make a great gift to to the Free Methodist ministry or charity of your choice.

Gifts of Retirement Assets

Donating part or all of your unused retirement assets such as a gift from your IRA, 401(k), 403(b), pension or other tax-deferred plan is an excellent way to make a gift to to the Free Methodist ministry or charity of your choice.

Gifts of Insurance

A gift of your life insurance policy is an excellent way to make a gift to charity. If you have a life insurance policy that has outlasted its original purpose, consider making a gift of your insurance policy. You designate your favorite Free Methodist ministry or charity of your choice.

IRA Rollover

If you are 70 1/2 or older, maximize your IRA for Ministry!  No taxes under $100k and we can help split your IRA’s Qualified Charitable Distribution to a number of ministries.

Charitable Gift Annuity

You transfer your cash or appreciated property to The Free Methodist Foundation to eventually benefit your favorite Free Methodist ministry in exchange for our promise to pay you fixed income (with rates based on your age) for the rest of your life.

Charitable Remainder Unitrust

You transfer your cash or appreciated property to fund a charitable remainder unitrust. The trust sells your property tax free and provides you with income for life or a term of years.

Charitable Remainder Annuity Trust

You transfer your cash or appreciated property to fund a charitable remainder annuity trust. The trust sells your property tax free and provides you with fixed income for life or a term of years.

Charitable Lead Trust

You transfer your cash or property to fund a lead trust that makes gifts to your favorite Free Methodist ministry for a number of years. You receive a charitable deduction for the gift. Your family receives the remainder at substantial tax savings.

Sale and Unitrust

You give a portion of your property to your favorite Free Methodist ministry or charity of your choice, to fund a charitable remainder trust, when the property sells you receive cash and income for life.

Bargain Sale

The Free Methodist Foundation  or your favorite charity purchases your property for less than fair market value. You receive the cash and a charitable deduction for the difference between the market value and purchase price.

Give it Twice Trust

You may be looking for a way to provide your children with income while making a gift to your favorite Free Methodist ministry or charity of your choice. The Give it Twice Trust is a popular option that allows you to transfer your IRA at death to a term of years unitrust.

Life Estate Reserved

You may desire to leave your home or farm to your favorite Free Methodist ministry or charity of your choice at your death, but would like to receive a current charitable tax deduction. A life estate reserved might offer the solution you need!
