GUIDESTREAM CHARITABLE GIFT FUND
We are pleased to offer Donor Advised Funds (DAFs) through our ministry partner, GuideStream Charitable Gift Fund. Donor Advised Funds are one of the fastest growing trends in charitable giving, currently accounting for over 12% of all individual gifts.
A Donor Advised Fund is much like having a “charitable checkbook”. You can make a “deposit” to your account when it is convenient for you and receive a tax deduction. When you are ready, we help you “write a check” to the qualified ministries you would like to help through our grant recommendation process. Your gifts can even be anonymous if you would like.
We also partner with GuideStream Charitable Gift Fund to help our donors accomplish giving through their Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs). These gifts are called IRA Charitable Rollover Gifts or Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs). For our friends over 70 ½ this giving option allows them to reduce their taxable income by giving up to $100,000 from their IRA and having it count toward the required minimum distribution (RMD).
